クレヨンしんちゃんの作者が失踪、１１日から
A crayon しんちゃんの author disappears; from 11th

　人気漫画「クレヨンしんちゃん」の作者、臼井儀人（うすい・よしと）さん（５１）＝本名・臼井義人＝が失踪（しっそう）し、家族が埼玉県警春日部署に捜索願を出したことが１５日、捜査関係者などへの取材で分かった。県警は他県警とも連絡を取り、臼井さんを捜している。

　 臼井さんの代表作のクレヨンしんちゃんは、臼井さん自身が住む春日部市の幼稚園児、野原しんのすけが主人公の漫画。平成２年８月に双葉社「Ｗｅｅｋｌｙ漫 画アクション」で連載が始まり、現在も同社の雑誌「まんがタウン」で連載されている。テレビアニメ化され、劇場用アニメもつくられている。

　野原しんのすけは４月から、春日部市の子育て応援キャラクターとして活躍しているほか、１６年には同市に住民登録されていた。双葉社は「連絡が取れずとても心配している」とコメントしている。
